I am so excited to direct DREAM, GIRL!, an original theater work by acclaimed playwright Lisa Rosetta Strum, commissioned by The Apollo as part of The New Black Fest: 2023. In DREAM, GIRL!, they say the neon lights shine bright on Broadway, but not as blinding as the ambitions of Shirley Clementine Walker.
